My Story
After studying Mexican history, I kept thinking about how many stories go untold–our parents' stories, the memories our grandparents never wrote down, and the small moments in our everyday lives. And I began to realize that these stories matter just as much as the ones we’re taught in school.
So, I created Historiadora as a space to help you start writing your story. It is a space without pressure. Because it’s not about writing a book, it’s about keeping what matters from being forgotten–one memory at a time.
You don’t need to be a writer to do this, or even to like writing. You only need to be willing to remember. To ask questions, to write a few sentences. To begin.
Through Historiadora, I share questions, tools, and prompts to help you start capturing your story. Whether you're writing for yourself, your children, or the generations that will come after you, the resources you'll find here will help make writing fun and doable.
More than a place for resources, this space exists to remind you that your story is worth keeping.
